 Hijos de Crescencia MerinoThe relatively young D.O., established in 1991, is best known for its rosados made primarily from the Tempranillo grape. It is important to know that until very recently there has been no tradition of making white wines in Castile and this explains why areas such as Cigales have focused on producing excellent quality rosado wines. High elevations, 700-800 meters, lightweight soils and a continental climate yield wines that are bright, fruity and easy to drink! |
