Condado de Sequeiras2006 Condado de SequeirasType: Young red Tasting Notes: The nose is constructed of a solid base of dark cherry fruit and meaty / iron tones (similar to the Graciano varietal in Rioja) sprinkled with aromatic notes of orange peel, clove and potpourri. The palate reflects the sanguine, iron notes found in the nose and also reveals brambly, dark berries and red apple. Very balanced and smooth. (TS) Other Notes: Condado de Sequeiras comes from old vine (80 yrs) Mencia planted along the steep, terraced banks of the river Mino in the province of Lugo in the parish of Camporramiro, Sequeiras. Stainless steel treatment provides a clean canvas to showcase the highlights of the great fruit. |
