Talai Berri2005 Hondarribi Beltza (red)Type: Young Red Tasting Notes: Wow! Aromas similar to Cabernet Franc but distinctly different. Sweet floral fragrance with notes of pomegranate, red and black pepper and hints of ripe blackberry and raspberry. On the palate the wine is reminiscent of the white Txakoli: light, spritzy and high in acid but not astringent. Notes of raspberry and black pepper on the finish. Other Notes: Truly a one of a kind wine! Made exclusively with the rare Hondarribi Beltza grapes. Less than 100 cases imported. |
