2000 Reserva

Type: Aged Red

Tasting Notes: The 2000 Reserva is a bit more refined than the Crianza but hardly a shrinking violet. The color is less dense and the nose is more expressive. There are notes of cedar, tobacco, scorched earth, truffle, blueberry, and blackberry which jump from the glass. On the palate the wine remains youthful with layers of flavor but also some elegance as well as power. The fruit is ripe and sweet, the tannins soft, and the finish lasts for at least 45 seconds. - WA

Other Notes: The 1998 vintage offered great fruit and body.  This Reserva has been aged for 30 months in French and American Oak barrels. 100% Tempranillo. The result is something special!
